NYP, Daily News & Shirts Have Arrived!

Huge thank you to the best Mom/Mother-in-Law in the world! She went to two bodegas and the post office at 7am on Thursday mornng. Finally found Yankees World Champions shirts in Charlotte. My husband was a big help in finding the, needle in a haystack, 600 miles from New York. Went to pick them up after work and they look awesome. Almost as good as it looked on Jeter...almost!

Wish I could receive The Post in print everyday because the web version does not do it justice. I like to fold it a certain way and read it on the train. The newsprint on my hands is annoying but a great feeling. I guess it makes me feel like I'm grown. Remembering when my dad used to read the local paper with a glass of orange juice and make quips about what he had just read. That is whatI see when I hold a paper in my hands. Okay, that's just sappy but my point is clear. Reading the print version of the paper is not as popular as it used to be, but it still only costs 50 cents. Besides 30 minutes at a parking meter in Great Neck (Long Island), what else can you buy for 50 cents? Maybe half of a small fry at McD's...

Missing my daily dose of The Post...

Until Tomorrow,

♥ Emily ♥
